February 2026 – SPRING NEWSLETTER

Wildwood Acres Neighbors,

The Wildwood Acres Property Owners Association Board of Directors met this past November and January and wanted to keep everyone up-to-date on neighborhood news and projects!

SPRING CLEAN UP SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, April 18, 2026 – 10:00 a.m.

Mark your calendars and join us for our annual Spring Clean Up. We focus on the two neighborhood parks, as well as the areas around our two neighborhood signs. Projects include spreading mulch in the flower beds, washing the picnic tables, weeding in several areas, digging out the horseshoe pit and trimming low hanging branches. In addition, volunteers are needed to help fix the Wildwood Acres sign on Avant Rd. at Broad.

Refreshments are provided! Come with gloves, shovels, garbage bags, tree trimming tools and buckets. The more help we have, the quicker everything gets done.

NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS AND REMINDERS

1.       Our Capital Fund is growing and we continue to build it for future large projects and repairs. Remember, ½ of your POA dues are being set aside for capital improvements. Our general operating fund will be able to manage repairs this year, including: Boat ramp repair (concrete), New picnic tables at the park, New pump for the sprinkler system, and removal of dead trees in the large park.

2.       Please remember to close the gates to the trailer and boat launch. Leaving gates unlocked and open could potentially be a liability to the POA, leading to theft of trailers and non-residents using the boat ramp and burn pit.

3.       PLEASE DO NOT put fish in the trash can at the small park and DO NOT tie fish up at the boat dock.

4.       The burn pit is for neighbor’s landscape debris only, no plastic, home trash, large tree branches/trunks or construction debris.

POA Holds Annual Meeting - Saturday, October 25, 2025

ANNUAL MEETING RECAP

Wildwood Acres POA’s 50th Annual Meeting was held on Saturday, October 25 at the Tool Civic Center. Forty neighbors were in attendance to hear a recap of the year from the POA Board and Treasurer.

To celebrate our 50 year anniversary, a drawing was held for gift cards to the Hopkins Nursery on Hwy 274. 2 Lucky neighbors walked away with the prizes.

The attendees elected Marc Hebner and Jason Powers to serve 2-year terms on the Board.

After the meeting, neighbors enjoyed a potluck lunch and fellowship.

New keys were issued to all attendees who had dues up to day and a key to return. If you need to exchange your key, please email: poa@wildwoodacres.org to set up a place and time.
